Fred Petersen joined IntriPlex Technologies in January 1999 as Director of Quality Assurance. Prior to joining the Company, Fred was employed by Applied Magnetics Corporation (AMC), a leading manufacture of recording head assemblies for the disk drive industry.

During Mr. Petersen's 10+ years with AMC, he held several design and manufacturing engineering management positions, including an expatriate assignment as engineering manager for the Company's Singapore subsidiary from July 1991 through September 1993. Fred received both his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science Degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California at Davis.

Mr. Petersen developed a strong background in stamping and conventional machining technologies during his pre-college days through his participation in a family owned business, Petersen Precision Engineering.
